Learn how to create a new site template using SharePoint 2007

1. In the far right corner, click Site Actions.
2. From the drop down menu, select Site Settings.
3. On this page, under Look and Feel, select Save site as template.
4. On the right, fill in the File name, Template name and the Template description.
5. Click OK on the bottom right.
6. The next page will read Operation Completed Successfully. Click the site template gallery.
7. The new site template will appear in the Site Template Gallery.
