Another option I just used:
I created a Calculated column in the source SharePoint list with formula “=COUNTA([Column1], [Column2])” where Column1 and 2 are fields that you’re waiting the user to fill out.

In your workflow, wait for your calculated column to be zero (meaning, all fields you wanted filled out are completed).

on my german host I see following:
PS C:\Users\Carl> ‘1,23’ -as [double]
123
PS C:\Users\Carl> [double]::parse(‘1,23’)
1,23
Type conversion with -as does not work correct because the decimal separator ‘,’ used in Germany is not recognized. Parse works.
?Why?

What is actually accomplished here is unclear because you mention VMM up front, and then describe a procedure for importing an existing VM into Hyper-V, not VMM.

I am looking for a way to import an existing VM into VMM. Getting it into the Hyper-V host is straightforward. The big question is, how do you get it to show in the VMM console ?

Yup, misleading and a waste of time to read. Nothing we didn’t know already. You might just mention to CHANGE THE DNS record to point to the new SQL. Oh well.. back to the hunt.
